Varied Forms unveils Folio collection
Innovative brassware brand Varied Forms, has unveiled the Folio Collection, a new range designed by Creative Director Benjamin Peak.
Blending heritage with modern living, the tap collection distils classic silhouettes into a versatile, contemporary and customisable range that allows bathroom design to match unique styles.
Presented as a continuation of two hundred years of tap design, the Folio collection is born from Peak’s research into design archives and giving archetypal forms a new contemporary take.
“With Folio, we have created a series of tap designs that feel both familiar and fresh,” says Peak. “By referencing designs that have stood the test of time, we enable architects, designers and homeowners to create bathrooms that are both deeply personal and beautifully reminiscent.”
At the heart of the Folio Collection are three base designs – Pyramid Base, a confident, modern form with a structured silhouette; Dome Base, a softer, more gently rounded base; and Chamfer Base, a subtle interplay of planes, offering an edgy industrial look – which each draw from architectural and industrial influences.
The handles are central to the design with their sculptured fusion of dynamic lines and soft curves, adding a further stylish and sensory element to Folio’s modular component.
Each base can be paired with a variety of handles and spouts, allowing for a level of customisation and creativity that is core to the Varied Forms ethos, offering great flexibility in terms of design. Varied Forms ethos of personalisation, inclusivity, and intelligent solutions, is again realised through the Folio Collection. The company also offers a wide range of resources, including CAD drawings and installation guides to simplify project delivery for architects and designers.
