Victoria + Albert introduces new colour service
In response to a strong demand for bespoke colour finishes, luxury British bathing brand Victoria + Albert Baths has unveiled 194 RAL colour exterior finishes across the entire collection of freestanding QuarryCast baths and basins. This follows the brand’s six popular standard paint finishes, which were launched in 2016.
Launching officially at ISH Frankfurt and London Design Week at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour, the new colours and feet finishes enable Victoria + Albert’s tubs to be fully customisable, with over 28,000 variants for baths and around 5,000 for basins.
The exterior paint finishes, which can be chosen in gloss or matte options, contrast with the crisp white QuarryCast interior of the freestanding baths and basins. Multi-layered using a specialist catalysed paint and hand polished between applications, the technique adds depth and lustre to the finish and is considerably more durable than hand painted surfaces.
