Victoria and Albert Baths unveils collection of built-in baths and basins range
Victoria + Albert Baths has launched the Kaldera collection – its first range of built-in baths and basins.
Comprised of the Kaldera 4, 5 and 6 baths and the complementary Kaldera 56 and 62 basins, the collection combines practicality with Victoria + Albert’s trademarked Quarrycast material, a unique blend of volcanic limestone and high-performance resins that is warm to the touch, ensuring that water remains warmer for longer. The basins are smooth, scratch-resistant, strong and lightweight.
With modern living in mind, each Kaldera bath is ergonomically designed with a single-ended recline of 32 degrees. A clever rim design also means the baths are easier to fit, making them a suitable choice for hospitality and residential use. Diamond-cut edging ensures seamless installation against tiles, whilst four adjustable feet enable perfect levelling.
Each bath varies in size with the Kaldera 4 being the most compact and narrow in the series, suitable for rooms with limited space, while the Kaldera 5 is slightly larger but aesthetically similar, and the Kaldera 6 is the largest and most spacious.
The Kaldera 56 and 62 basins are perfect accompaniments to the bathtubs. Additional features of the basins include internal overflow and flat cutbacks to ease the installation of taps.
