Waterworks launches Solid Surface baths collection
Waterworks has unveiled a new collection of Solid Surface baths that rethinks how the material is approached for contemporary interiors.
The luxury bath and kitchen design house has taken inspiration from French and Scandinavian mid-century ceramics to deliver designs that are organic in form. Poured as a liquid and realised straight from the mould, the baths achieve enhanced thinness and sculptural exactness.
Each bathtub starts with bauxite, one of the world’s most abundant minerals. It is ground down into a fine powder, refined into pure aluminium, then blended with a plant-based resin to create a surface that is nonporous and smooth to the touch.

The process starts as initial sketches, establishing exact proportions and the intent behind each design, before miniature 3D models are created. Made sustainably in Italy, each bath reflects a blend of technical rigour and creative ambition that complement one another.
Solid Surface Tubs expands upon Waterworks’ vast range of materials, extending an offering with three distinct silhouettes, each available in matte white and grey.
The collection comprises three designs: Cinta, featuring exterior ridges that emerge naturally from the casting process creating a distinctive design language; Rein, its name derived from the Latin word for kidney due to its shape which flows into a continuous silhouette, anchored by an architectural contour; and Vector, with a soft geometric form that appears almost carved from clay where its silhouette has been shaped by a single considered crease.

Alongside the Solid Surface launch, Waterworks has also expanded its most contemporary collection, Finot, with new additions for the bath and kitchen. Originally developed in collaboration with Gachot Studios in 2024, Finot has a confident simplicity, seamlessly merging meticulous details with acute contemporary sensibilities.
