With the 31 January deadline fast approaching, AHEAD Americas is still accepting entries for its 2018 programme, and invites architects, designers and hoteliers from across the region to submit their new hotel projects.
Taking place on 12 June at Miami’s Faena Forum – which took home the AHEAD Americas Hotel of the Year award at last year’s event – AHEAD Americas will celebrate the most ambitious and innovative designs and guest experiences across categories including: Bar, Club and Lounge; Event Spaces, Guestrooms; Hotel Renovation and Restoration; Landscaping and Outdoor Spaces; Lobby and Public Spaces; Resort Hotel; Restaurant, Spa and Wellness; Suite; Urban Hotel – Conversion; and Urban Hotel – Newbuild.
Accepting projects completed between November 2016 and December 2017, judges will assess the hotels based on both creative excellence and commercial viability, as well as the demonstration of a sensible use of budget to contribute to guest experience as well as the theatre of hotel life.
