Luxury hotel brand, AJWA, is to open its second property in Turkey this Autumn. Set across three structures in the province of Nevsehir, AJWA Cappadocia, will feature 98 guestrooms and cave suites, a concept restaurant, a spa with traditional Turkish Hammam., small farm and a landscaped garden.

The resort has been designed to channel an authentic Keravansaray experience, emphasising Cappadocian culture and natural elements by way of Turkish rugs, mother-of-pearl furnishings and landscaped gardens holding over 130 plant varieties including Sakura trees, lavender, roses and assorted herbs.

Guestrooms will feature verdant views, hand-painted artworks, traditional woollen carpets and rugs, together with Dornbracht bathroom fittings and soft lighting. Overlooking the resort’s garden, the four Kervansaray room types – ranging from 32-52m2 in size – will evoke the Caravanserais style that existed the during the time of the Silk Road trade, providing travellers a place to rest and recover from the day’s journey.

The jewel in the offer’s crown will be nine mansion-inspired suites set within the region’s caves. The suites will comprise a large living room area and one-three bedrooms, with the largest also including a workspace that can accommodate additional beds if required.

Meanwhile, the hotel’s fine-dining Zeferan Restaurant will serve up a fusion of authentic Azerbaijan, Turkish and Sinasos Village cuisine with international influence. Amongst its varied cooking equipment, the restaurant will feature a traditional quarry and tandoor oven, allowing the kitchen to serve dishes such as homemade soups, Trout and Carp served in salt, and a traditional Azerbaijan kebab presentation show.
