Alila Hotels and Resorts unveils its first contemporary resort in India
The 149-room Alila Diwa Goa is sited in South Goa along the coast of the beautiful Majorda Beach, where verdant paddy fields lead out to an endless stretch of soft white sand and the Arabian Sea.
Alila’s respect for the rich local culture is emphasized in Alila Diwa Goa’s concept, which is particularly evident in its destination dining restaurant, Spice Studio and live kitchen restaurant, VIVO. Alila has also blended heritage Goan architecture to create a stylish and relaxing contemporary Goan stay environment.
At the heart of the poperty is an endless infinity pool that extends out into the paddy terraces. Its rooms and suites are designed for quiet indulgence with an amazing bath experience, luxury bedding and a private terrace to take in the picturesque setting. Specifically, its extraordinary three-bedroom Presidential Villa, which comes with a private plunge pool and a villa host, offers an unprecedented level of private space at 3,800 square feet. The resort is further complemented with a family entertainment zone that includes a theatre and children’s activity centre, and a comprehensive event centre which is equipped with a ballroom, meeting rooms and a large outdoor lawn that can accommodate up to 300 persons.
Alila Hotels & Resorts is already planning to open more hotels in India. Future destinations include Bangalore, Calicut and Cochin.
