Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas has unveiled plans to open the first hotel on the World Islands development.

Located in the Arabian Gulf, just off the coast of Dubai, Anantara World Islands Dubai Resort is in the final stages of development ahead of its launch in Q4 of 2021.

The 70-key property will offer accommodation ranging from suites to beach and pool villas. The latter will feature a private pool and an outdoor dining area, as well as direct access to the beach. In-room spa treatments and a gym will also form part of the resort’s health and wellness facilities.

F&B options will include a Mediterranean al fresco restaurant and an Arabic-Indian specialty dining experience, freshly caught seafood prepared by a talented in-house team of chefs and a stylish bar lounge that will offer panoramic views of the Dubai skyline.

“Anantara World Islands Dubai Resort will be the first hotel to open on this archipelago, offering guests a truly memorable escape just off the coast of Dubai,” explains Dillip Rajakarier, CEO Minor Hotels, parent company of Anantara. “Showcasing Anantara’s authentic luxury while maintaining a tropical island vibe, the resort is a unique proposition for this location. Guests will be able to experience the wonder of Dubai and the ambiance of an island sanctuary, all in this stunning new Anantara resort.”

“Anantara is one of the world’s most prestigious luxury hotel brands, which is already well established in Dubai and the UAE,” adds Abdulla bin Sulayem, CEO of Seven Tides Limited. “Seven Tides and Anantara are further strengthening our relationship with this exciting new venture on the World Islands, representing a new milestone in hospitality and for the city.”
