andBeyond is reimagining the luxury safari with two new Under Canvas camps: Sandibe and Nxabega.
Located in the Okavango Delta, the two additions, together with the newly refurbished Chobe Under Canvas, complete a seven-night circuit through the Botswana wilderness, an experience that continues the brand’s ethos centred around sustainability, intimacy and adventure.
Curated to reflect the Delta’s textures and tones, the interiors combine earthy greens, light wood, woven fibres and brushed metal to create a sanctuary that merges comfort with the surrounding wilderness. With just three tents per camp accommodating a maximum of six guests, each retreat has minimal impact on the surrounding nature while maintaining maximum comfort.

Tents feature super king beds, double showers and vanities, standing fans, running water throughout and Starlink Wi-Fi –a first for Botswana Under Canvas, which provides reliable connectivity while operating in harmony with the environment.
Set within one of the Okavango’s most wildlife-rich areas, Sandibe is renowned for year-round sightings of lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog. Game drives, walking safaris and community visits invite deeper discovery, while further west at Nxabega, reveals a softer side to the Okavango with views of seasonal water-laced floodplains, mokoro glides and the hush of reeds brushing against a wooden paddle.
