Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort arrives in Thailand

Avani Hotels & Resorts has opened the doors to its Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort in Thailand.

Marking the brand’s first entry into the country’s resort town of Krabi, the property is centrally located, boasting views of limestone formations rising up from the Andaman Sea as well as being close to local cafes, bars and the popular Ao Nang Night Market.

Each of the 178 guestrooms and villas are designed to reflect Krabi’s natural landscape. The resort’s private villas sit further uphill on the property, offering sunset views with a pool and relaxation area. The property also features an AvaniSpa, an elevated swimming pool, an AvaniFit gym and AvaniKids – an indoor and outdoor children’s play area.

Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi comprises five different dining and drinking venues including: Orchid Bar, serving hearty snacks and artisanal cocktails by the pool; Pano Café, serving  breakfast; The Cliff, an infinity pool bar overlooking the cliff onto the Andaman; The Peak, a rooftop bar open throughout the evening; and Ao Nang Buffet, a popular local hangout serving freshly caught seafood and Thai dishes.

“We are excited to welcome Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort into our portfolio,” says Javier Pardo, Vice President of Operations for Avani Hotels & Resorts. “The property is not only centrally located but also a boat ride away from island-hopping adventures and we are confident guests will enjoy the scenic experiences Krabi has to offer.”

Avani Hotels & Resorts currently operates over 30 properties in Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and Europe and has new properties under development in destinations such as South Korea, the Maldives, Mauritius and Oman.
