Avani Hotels lands in Hua Hin

Avani Hotels, an upscale brand from Minor Hotel Group, has announced the opening of Hua Hin Resort & Villas on southern Thailand’s Gulf Coast.

Nestled in a tranquil spot on the coastline, the property comprises 196 guestrooms, suites and villas that combine natural elements with contemporary design. Surrounded by tropical gardens and a large lagoon pool, each space features a private balcony, while suites include either a plunge pool or Jacuzzi and gazebo.

The eleven one-bedroom and two two-bedroom Lagoon Pool Villas have direct access to the resort’s main pool, while bathtubs and walk-in showers, alongside an outdoor rainforest shower in select suites, further reinforce a connection with nature.

Celebrating authentic Thai dishes, rustic Italian flavours and international fare with an emphasis on local produce, the F&B venues at Avani Hua Hin include all-day dining restaurant Staas, which serves international favourites and local dishes, and Italian brasserie Brezza. The Jazz Lounge, opening on New Year’s Eve, will add to the culinary offering with a tapas menu and cocktails.

Elsewhere, the property encompasses the largest event space in Hua Hin in the form of an independent 900m2 ballroom. The space is suitable for weddings and conferences, accommodating banquets of 500 people and theatre-style seating for 700 people, while it can also be re-configured to offer up to five smaller meeting rooms.

Additional facilities include the AvaniSpa, which features nine treatment rooms including two couple’s rooms and an authentic Hammam, where trained therapists administer modern treatments. The hotel’s AvaniFit gym is also equipped with cardio and weight-training machines, adding to the jogging, cycling and water sport activities such as kite surfing, sailing and paddle board yoga.
