Avi Brosh’s Palisociety has continued the expansion of its signature bed & breakfast hotel brand, Le Petit Pali, with the opening of Le Petit Pali St Helena, located in Napa Valley, California.

The fifth Le Petit Pali hotel, accompanying locations in Carmel-by-the-Sea, Los Angeles’ Brentwood neighbourhood and Laguna Beach, is a wine country resort destination perched on close to three acres in St Helena.

The property contains 29 guestrooms, including five private guest cottages, as well as a main house, garden bar, pool and spa deck, sun terrace and neighbouring vineyards.

The hotel’s design, courtesy of Brosh and the Palisociety design team, features bold and unexpected details, amenities and a layered sense of luxury combined with the casual comforts of a private residence.

Palisociety main house

The property, which blends into its natural surroundings with its exterior palette of dark green and cream-washed walls, welcomes guests via a tree-lined driveway up to the main house. This residential-inspired space features wood flooring, green walls and white tile accents, and plays host to the hotel’s reception, lounge areas and two dining rooms.

A mix of custom, vintage and curated furnishings and design elements litter the property, including Hermès decorative plates, wallpapered ceilings, patterned café curtains and lush florals. Within, lounge seating sits alongside a private dining room for guest use and special events, and a sun-drenched breakfast space where the included morning offering is served daily with vineyard views in every direction.
