Banyan Group has announced the opening of Garrya Mu Cang Chai, marking the brand’s debut in Vietnam.
Located in the renowned mountain and rice terrace region of Mu Cang Chai in Northern Vietnam, the resort spans 6.6 hectares of lush greenery and encompasses 110 rooms, suites and villas, as well as an all-day dining restaurant, outdoor events area and 8LEMENTS spa.
Designed with a focus on Asian sensibility and simplified living, the accommodation offers panoramic views of the landscape and features traditional bamboo accents and brocade motifs typical of the H’Mong people.
Immersing guests in the country’s native flora and fauna, each villa is connected by tree-lined pathways and lush gardens, which are home to the region’s iconic Tớ Dày flower.
Similarly, the resort’s restaurant is adorned with Vietnamese bamboo-inspired décor, with a bright, airy interior and high ceilings overlooking the surrounding mountains.
Thinh Phan, General Manager at Garrya Mu Cang Chai, says: “The resort embodies Garrya’s philosophy of finding beauty in simplicity. From thoughtful spaces that encourage stillness to a purposeful living approach, we want to offer our guests a meaningful escape from the demands of modern life.”
Offering further relaxation for guests, the 8LEMENTS Spa and hydro wellbeing area feature a range of facilities, including a herbal steam room, infrared sauna, hot pools and a rain mist shower walk.
The newly opened resort also houses a second dining location, Charcoal Grill, where guests can experience a live open-kitchen and indulge in dishes that highlight traditional charcoal and dry wood cooking methods, providing an authentic taste of the region.
