Cabot to launch second resort in Saint Lucia in 2022

After launching Cabot Cape Breton in Nova Scotia, Cabot is now turning its attention to the Caribbean with the upcoming Cabot Saint Lucia scheduled for 2022. This is the brand’s second resort, marking its expanding portfolio, with Cabot Revelstoke in British Columbia set to open later in 2024.

The resort spans 375 acres on the northern tip of the Pointe Hardy peninsula and will offer private residences, luxury guest accommodation and an 18-hole golf course. The resort’s Cabot Point course is designed by architects Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, responsible for creating the brand’s infamous Cabot Cliffs course. Founders Ben Cowan-Dewar and Mike Keiser’s unique development approach prioritises the design of their golf courses, ensuring maximum playability set against a backdrop of ocean views.

Available to purchase in 2022, the resort’s private residences range from Fairway Villas to expansive single-family homes and customisable beachfront properties. Also on offer are 40 luxury guest suites designed by Richard Evans, featuring one to three bedrooms.

In addition, the resort will also offer a range of amenities for guests, including a beach club, spa and fitness centre, featuring a steam & sauna in addition to a tailored sports programme. No personal vehicles will be permitted on the resort, with bicycles, golf carts and other modes of transport provided for guests to use instead. This is all part of the brand’s dedication to ensuring that the resort can be upstaged only by the untouched natural beauty of its surroundings.

Cabot CEO and Co-Founder, Ben Cowan-Dewar comments: “We are committed to our mission of creating exceptional golf resorts that serve as the backdrop for unforgettable experiences, while supporting the communities in which they are based.”

By complementing these dramatic backdrops with rugged yet modern design, the brand has attracted strong sales success. Upon the launch of Cabot Saint Lucia’s first phase of real estate in 2020, land sales exceeded $100 million sold out entirely.

“The demand exceeded our wildest expectations,” notes Ben Cowan-Dewar. “Product releases that we expected to take months sold in days.”
