Capella Bangkok has revealed it will open its doors in October 2020.

Situated in the prestigious Chao Phraya Estate, Capella Bangkok will offer 101 guestrooms, suites and villas, each boasting uninterrupted river views. The location was selected for to its access to the Chao Phraya River and Charoenkrung Road – Bangkok’s oldest paved road, where tradition and cultural heritage meet the city’s trendiest cafes, bars and galleries.

Designed by Andy Miller and Richard Scott Wilson of Hamiltons International, with interiors by BAMO, the hotel seeks to offer a sense of tranquillity amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.

Ranging from 61 square metres to 595 square metres, each of the accommodations are fitted with floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony or veranda, allowing guests to take in the spectacle of the river. Each riverside villa or veranda accommodation also features an outdoor jacuzzi plunge pool.

The hotel offers guests two restaurants including Côte by Mauro Colagreco, serving a contemporary reinterpretation of traditional recipes and the culinary heritage of the French and Italian riviera. Testifying to the unique, time-honoured Thai recipes of the district is the al fresco dining Phra Nakhon restaurant, whilst Stella will serve bespoke patisserie and libations staged in a vivid, ethereal boudoir.
