CitizenM expands London portfolio
Amsterdam-based architecture and interiors studio Concrete has completed CitizenM’s latest addition, CitizenM Tower of London, the brand’s follow up to its London Bankside flagship.
Situated on top of Tower Hill and one of London’s busiest underground stations, CitizenM’s largest property to-date is comprised of 370 guestrooms plus brand concepts including CoffeeM and CollectionM, CitizenM’s signature coffeeshop and retail spaces respectively.
The double-height SocietyM sits atop the building and features eight meeting spaces and a rooftop bar offering views over the Thames and city centre. Concrete has designed the architectural layout and all the building’s interiors to respond to the property’s historic location, whilst the facade is designed by Sheppard Robson Architects in close collaboration with Concrete.
