Delaire Graff Estate debuts David Collins Studio-designed Superior Lodges

South Africa’s Delaire Graff Estate has announced the opening of six Superior Lodges and an Owner’s Villa to complement its existing offer. Comprising 76m² of space with interconnecting options available, the suites further feature outdoor space, heated plunge pool and loungers with views across the valley.

Designed by David Collins Studio, both new categories incorporate bespoke materials and soft furnishings, whilst walls are adorned with original art by both contemporary and modern African artists – each piece shared from the collection of Laurence Graff. Inspiration has been drawn from native palettes and patterns, with contrast provided by European touches.

Simon Rawlings, Creative Director at David Collins Studio, comments: “Each lodge features interiors that have been carefully finished with textures and tones to create modern, timeless and detailed interiors. The finishes have been carefully selected to work with the estate aesthetic and to sit harmoniously within the landscape. Personally selected pieces, artwork and objects ensure the lodges exceed guest expectations, and feel uniquely Delaire.”

The Villa, meanwhile, offers a private outdoor space with sun loungers and parasols, a 14m swimming pool or Jacuzzi, living room, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen.

Matthew Smith, General Manager of Delaire Graff Lodges & Spa, adds: “We are excited to witness the Estate’s biggest transformation since opening our doors in 2009. The new Superior Lodges and Owner’s Villa are exceptional gems further showcasing this extraordinary destination, The Jewel of the Cape Winelands. We look forward to further realising our vision for the Estate and sharing this latest offering with our guests.”
