One&Only Desaru Coast is being revamped for the summer with a touch of Dior, as the luxury brand brings a brand-new pop-up store and café to the resort. The new Dior additions will find home in the resort’s Ember Beach Club for eight weeks this summer, marking the first time that Dior and One&Only have come together in Malaysia.

The beach club has been transformed with romantic dusky pink tones, as well as life-sized sculptures of wild animals, emblematic of Dior’s classic toile de Jouy drawings. The restaurant’s interiors, dining areas, sun loungers, cabanas and pools have been embellished with trademark Dior motifs, while the new retail space will be set within a larger-than-life sandcastle by the ocean.

For the duration of the takeover, Dior Café at Ember Beach Club will also be providing guests with a new dining experience, created by Dior Malaysia Chef Partner Raymond Tham. The Mediterranean-inspired menu features hearty summer flavours that pay homage to Malaysia’s fresh local produce with a French twist.

The on-site boutique, meanwhile, will be home to the Dioriviera capsule collection, designed by Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri.
