CL Hotels has announced it will launch Ebb Dunedin in New Zealand this summer.

Dunedin Property Investment Group has collaborated closely Gary Todd Architecture to create a Modernist-style building with a defining black steel structure.

Todd also designed a glass curtain facade, containing a semi-transparent artwork created by Dunedin artist Simon Kaan, that covers the entire front and rear sides.

The project’s interior design has been led by Sydney-based Indyk Architects, the team behind QT Hotels.

Dunedin’s Stewart’s Construction is the hotel’s appointed builder, with Sydney-based creative agency Maud leading the brand direction.

Spread across four floors, the property comprises 27 guestrooms, one two-bedroom penthouse suite, and an on-site café and wine bar adjacent to the garden.

All rooms surround a light-filled covered atrium featuring numerous artworks by some of New Zealand’s best artists, large trees, and floor-to-ceiling climbing plants.

Each level of the hotel has its own guest lounge, where residents are encouraged to socialise with others whilst soaking in the atrium’s atmosphere.
