With a goal to open 60 hotels by 2032, Emblems Collection – Accor’s new global portfolio of luxury hotels – is slated to unveil six new properties by the end of 2027, spanning Europe and North America.
Having launched in November 2025 with its debut and flagship property, Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa, each hotel in the Emblems Collection celebrates unique, character-rich properties that reflect the soul of their destination, from grand heritage mansions to contemporary architectural icons and serene nature retreats.
Now, as 2026 gets underway, the brand sets its sights on the year ahead. Among this year’s openings are Rimrock Banff, Emblems Collection. Perched high above the Bow Valley, the hotel seeks to redefine mountain luxury as the brand’s first property in North America.

Following a full renovation, it will reopen in 2026 as a flagship destination in the Canadian Rockies. The mountain retreat is located minutes away from downtown Banff, the Gondola and the historic Upper Hot Springs, balancing seclusion with accessibility to the region’s most iconic experiences.

Designed by Studio Collective, the transformation will fuse modern refinement with raw alpine beauty. Highlights include a dramatic mountainside infinity pool, vitality pools, panoramic saunas, meditation rooms, movement studios and an expedition centre that connects guests to year-round adventures in Banff National Park.

While offering uninterrupted views of the Rockies, Rimrock Banff, Emblems Collection will also introduce new culinary and bar concepts that celebrate the surrounding landscape and heritage.
Across the pond, the brand will also bring its philosophy of refined luxury to Tuscany. Palazzo Sozzini Malavolti, Emblems Collection breathes new life into a 15th century Renaissance residence.

Located along Via Pantaneto, just steps from Siena’s Piazza del Campo in the Contrada del Leocorno, the property is steeped in provenance, with the Palazzo having once housed the noble Italian families from whom it gets its name.

The residence will offer 38 rooms – 27 being suites – each with its unique story and blend of modern comfort with Tuscany’s timeless craftsmanship.

The dining offering celebrates the region’s rich culinary heritage, including Tuscany’s finest vintages, which guests can sip alfresco in the garden with views over the hills or enjoy in the restaurant, where golden arches frame the space.

Meanwhile, an expansive spa featuring The Purist Retreat & Spa concept is set in the hotel secret garden and within the building’s converted WWII-era basement. Here, guests can enjoy restorative treatments, as well as visiting the tepidarium and sauna.
