Ennismore unveils NoCo

Ennismore, the team behind The Hoxton, has announced NoCo, a new series of properties that aims to reimagine what a budget hotel can offer. Created for travellers looking for more than a generic hotel experience at a fair price, NoCo seeks to appeal to both in the know travellers and inquisitive locals.

Combining bespoke style and state-of-the-art technology with contemporary design aesthetics, NoCo will offer 150-200 compact yet comfortable guestrooms with nightly rates of under £100, with booking and check-in via a forward-thinking app. With an objective to prove that budget doesn’t have to be boring, NoCo will open 25 hotels in key cities across the UK with the first scheduled for 2018.

Sharan Pasricha, CEO of Ennismore notes: “We’ve created NoCo to challenge the status quo of today’s budget brands. Travelling habits and demands have changed; as has the way that people now use hotels. Our aim is to raise the bar for affordable hotels and provide business and leisure travellers with a stylish alternative to bland, cookie cutter hotels so often found in cities outside of London”.

Ennismore will craft creative communal spaces by partnering with local restaurant operators, enabling guests and residents to enjoy an energetic atmosphere, exciting food and drink options and music programming, regardless of whether or not they are staying in the hotel or not.

Ben Russell, Acquisitions Director at Ennismore concludes: “We have shortlisted several key cities, beginning in the UK, and are looking to work with progressive property partners on leasehold opportunities to roll-out the NoCo brand. We believe our exciting plans for the product coupled with our track record with The Hoxton makes Ennismore a strong proposition for local developers looking to build out hospitality assets.”
