Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Fairmont Hanoi, the luxury brand’s first property in Vietnam.
Designed by Perkins Eastman and Aston Design, the hotel blends local heritage, modern design and curated art through a scheme inspired by its home in the Old Quarter and the Red River that flows through the city.
Fairmont Hanoi’s 241 guestrooms have been elegantly appointed, including the forthcoming Presidential Suite where Art Deco touches meet Vietnamese grace. A further 38 Fairmont Gold rooms and 12 spacious suites complete the offering.

Meanwhile, the property’s public spaces have been designed to act as a social hub in the city, including its curated culinary offerings. A selection of eight restaurants, bars and lounges include Tran Dynasty, helmed by celebrity Chef Luke Nguyen; Hiryu, offering a relaxed yet polished dining experience inspired by Japanese brushwork and the symbolism of the dragon; and Bacco, led by Michelin-starred Chef Nicolas Isnard, featuring an open kitchen at its heart. In addition, the Pool Terrace & Bar is envisioned as an elevated retreat, sitting high above Hanoi and bringing together natural tones, lush greenery and textured uniforms.
The hotel’s wellness offerings are anchored by Hanoi’s inaugural Fitness & Wellness Club – a pioneering sanctuary dedicated to rejuvenation and vitality. The Cirua Spa, Fitness & Wellness Club is a 38,000ft2 urban retreat with offerings comprising a signature bathhouse with a range of hydrotherapy and thermal facilities; plunge pools, saunas and steam rooms; 10 dedicated private treatment rooms; and a cutting-edge fitness studio.

Fairmont Hanoi also presents its elevated and versatile events spaces, meticulously designed for gatherings of every scale and significance. The hotel’s comprehensive Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions centre encompasses over 4,000m2, at the heart of which lies Hanoi’s largest pillarless ballroom at 12,000ft2. This grand space is complemented by an array of additional elegant ballrooms and meeting rooms that each boast an abundance natural light.
“It is with immense pleasure that we welcome guests to Fairmont Hanoi, marking our inaugural property in Vietnam and unveiling a distinctive new destination for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts,” says Fairmont Hotels & Resorts CEO Omer Acar. “Vietnam is a nation we have long admired for its profound creativity, remarkable resilience, and rich cultural heritage, a spirit which Fairmont Hanoi embodies in every meticulously crafted detail.
“From its world-class culinary and beverage offerings to the tranquillity of its serene spa as well as each thoughtfully designed space, Fairmont Hanoi is conceived as a genuine gathering place – a vibrant social epicentre where celebrations naturally unfold, cherished memories are forged, and everyday moments are elevated into truly unforgettable experiences. This is more than a hotel; it is a captivating home within the city, where luxury, culture, and profound connection converge.”
