First Hampton by Hilton opens in City of London

Hampton by Hilton London City has opened its doors to guests, bringing the brand to the City of London for the first time. The 278-room hotel, located in East London, is the latest addition to a growing Hampton by Hilton portfolio.

With a range of accommodation types available, each room features calming, neutral tones, with the addition of bold touches and textiles in places.

An open-concept communal lounge and bar provide further space in which guests can recline, with soft seating available for use throughout the day. A fully-equipped fitness centre, meanwhile, offers an array of fitness equipment, including a Peloton bike.

The contemporary on-site restaurant serves up a complimentary hot breakfast, which includes the Hampton by Hilton signature fresh breakfast waffles.

“We are delighted to announce the opening of Hampton by Hilton London City. We sensed there was an incredible opportunity here to make so much more of the existing building and unlock the value of this site,” says Jay Ahluwalia, Principal Director at Dominus, the property’s owner. “The hotel is ideally positioned between the corporate centre of the City of London and many of the capital’s cultural attractions, with Brick Lane and Shoreditch a stone’s throw away. This project is a testament to our ability to deliver market-leading assets and reflects our strong commitment to the hospitality sector. We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Hilton and look forward to working together to create memorable experiences for our guests.”

Kaushik Subramanian, General Manager adds: “East London offers an exciting array of cultural and historical attractions, and we are delighted to bring the Hampton by Hilton experience to guests. We look forward to making our guests’ stays better and brighter with our signature friendly, authentic and thoughtful service.”
