Andaz has unveiled a first look at the interiors for Andaz Turks & Caicos. Set to open in Spring 2027, the property will mark the first Hyatt hotel in Turks & Caicos and the first Caribbean island resort for the Andaz brand.
The 132-key resort is designed by architecture by RAD Architecture with interiors by Modus Operandi in collaboration with Hyatt. Gently curving with the coastline, the west-facing property will offer a sunset perspective at every touchpoint.
Set directly on the white sands of Grace Bay and steps from Bight Reef within Princess Alexandra National Park, Andaz Turks & Caicos will comprise 59 hotel rooms and 73 branded residences, also available for stays, with 10 penthouses featuring their very own rooftop plunge pools.
The resort will feature three swimming pools, the 7,000ft2 Runa Spa & Wellness, four dining concepts, a dedicated Kids Club, tennis and pickleball courts, in addition to ample weddings and event space.

The structural narrative of Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay will unfold around an arrival sequence that takes cues from the island’s early history, when visitors arrived exclusively by boat. The entrance will recreate this experience, translating the pier into a long, immersive progression toward Grace Bay. Guests will move along a wood-lined corridor whose framing references the skeleton of an overturned boat. Set 15ft above the sea, the vantage point will immediately give the feeling of floating over the water as panoramic ocean views open up.
That connection will continue throughout the interiors, where local stone and rich, natural materials add warmth while shifting hues of blues draw the surrounding waters indoors.
The guestrooms’ expansive views and indoor-outdoor living will be balanced by a sense of privacy. Teak and hardwoods, richly textured fabrics and streams of natural light filtering into the bathrooms will create a tactile warmth, while artwork by Caribbean artists and pops of colour will bring the island’s character indoors.

A traditional Turks & Caicos dress, distinguished by its colourful stripes representing the individual islands, will serve as a cultural touchpoint for the interiors. The striped pattern is reinterpreted in the wooden headboards, translating a recognisable element of local dress into a subtle design detail.
In addition to 59 standard guestrooms, the 73 branded residences include studios as well as one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom layouts, with the largest four-bedroom residences spanning up to 8,336ft2 of indoor and outdoor space. Each residence will offer a balcony or terrace, indoor-outdoor living spaces and a Bosch-equipped kitchen. Natural woods, textured fabrics and contemporary furnishings are paired with handcrafted pieces and Caribbean-inspired graphics, creating a warm, layered interior palette. Ten penthouses will feature private rooftop plunge pools, while select residences offer private pools.
Anchoring the resort’s social scene, the lobby bar is inspired by the colourful homes found throughout the Caribbean. Saturated hues, natural materials and an open-air setting will create a relaxed, residential feel, while the bar’s expansive setting will make the landscape part of the backdrop.

As one of Grace Bay’s only indoor-outdoor oceanfront restaurants, Tamarà’s interiors will feature deep bottle-green tile to evoke the lushness of a tropical forest, balanced by limestone tiling and natural materials. A fishnet-inspired canopy will shade the expansive outdoor terrace, where a central tree will be framed by cascading lights that echo the movement of leaves overhead.
Baie will unfold across two levels beside the pool, with the upper level offering a lounge-like perch above the water. The laidback sanctuary will serve as a casual pool bar by day, shifting into a more refined setting with sunset rituals in the evening. Adjacent to the lobby, Palmette will blur the line between neighbourhood café and marketplace, pairing daytime fare with a considered edit of locally made goods including baskets, clothing, tableware, candles and other provisions.
The coastline also informs Runa Spa & Wellness, where the calm of Grace Bay’s reef-protected shallows finds expression across natural woods, neutral tones and sculptural forms punctuated by pops of colour that reflect the bay’s shifting hues of blue. The resort’s fitness centre will complement the spa with Life Fitness equipment throughout.
