Como Group has revealed that Como Metropolitan Singapore will open its doors in September 2023, marking the latest addition to its global portfolio. The hotel will be located within Como Orchard, the brand’s newest immersive experience building spread over 19 floors in the heart of Singapore.  

Como Orchard will be home to 11 floors of Como Metropolitan Singapore’s accomodation, dining, retail and wellness offerings. Set to be the first of the spaces in Como Orchard to launch, and opening in successive phases which begin in September, the 156-room hotel is the product of a range of design talent, including Italian architect Paola Navone (Otto Studio), Japanese interior design-consultant Koichiro Ikebuchi (Atelier Ikebuchi), American-Thai interior designer Preeti Sriratana (Modellus Novus) and Norweigian digital artist Thomas Hilland. 

Como Metropolitan Singapore will be home to three different dining establishments. Debuting its first international location is New York and Miami Korean steakhouse Cote, helmed by restaurateur Simon Kim. Como Cuisine will be serving all-day dining classics featuring Singaporean favorites, while French pastry chef Cédric Grolet will be making his Asia debut with a pastry shop on the hotel’s first floor.

Elsewhere in the hotel, a 9,000ft² wellness space has been crafted to enhance guests’ holistic wellbeing, while two floors will be dedicated to fashion retail, curated by multi-label boutique Club 21.
