SO/ Hotels is heading to the Middle East for the first time, opening SO/ Uptown Dubai in August 2023.

Located within Uptown Tower, a 340-metre-high structure designed by Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill, SO/ Uptown Dubai will comprise 188 rooms and suites which will embody a fashion-forward design outlook. Details in guestrooms will include marble bathrooms, rich fabrics and dark wood finishes alongside high ceilings which create naturally-lit, voluminous spaces. Views of Dubai’s skyline, Ain Dubai and the Arabian Gulf will frame guests’ stays at the hotel.

SO/ Uptown Dubai will also be home to 227 branded residences on the top 28 floors of the tower, where residents will have exclusive access to an indoor pool, gym, private cinema and Sky Lounge.

All guests staying at the new SO/ Hotels property will have access to a range of in-house dining and entertainment concepts, as well as fully equipped conference and meeting facilities – including a full-service ballroom with a 1000-guest capacity. Food and beverage will be served at the hotel’s brasserie, Asian fusion spot The Citronelle Club, laid-back Lazuli, and the Savant Bar & Lounge, as well as at entertainment-led dining spot Celeste.

As for wellness, a pool, gym and spa, developed in partnership with Anne Semonin Paris, will offer additional space in which guests can recline.
