FIRST LOOK: Sofitel Luxury Hotels rejuvenate their Paris Arc de Triomphe hotel

Designed to look like a Parisian pied-à-terre, the hotel embodies the quintessence of the art de vivre, as expressed with elegance and modernity behind a beautiful Haussmann exterior. The influences of French interior designer Andrée Putman are evident through the soft, soothing colours, sleek lines and subtle play of materials that aim to delight the senses.

Located near the Arc de Tiomphe, as the name suggests, the hotel has been designed to offer guests a luxurious experience, focusing upon rest and wellbeing whilst in the heart of the hectic city. Rooms feature Sofitel’s MyBed, an exclusive bedding concept, featuring all-feather beds and extra light down duvets. This idea flows through to public spaces, such as the sleek, welcoming lobby, the lounge complete with fireplace, and the Gallery fluidly connecting the lobby and lounge to the restaurant, with soft lighting fixtures lining the route.

The restaurant, under chef Thomas Bruno, resolves to be distinctly Parisian, offering modern French cuisine based on fresh seasonal produce from local providers. The restaurant and accompanying bar have been carefully designed by Jose Da Rosa to offer a unique dining experience in the capital city.

In addition to the plentiful opportunities for rest and relaxation, SoFit fitness centre is open 24/7 and boasts a wide selection of Techno Gym fitness training machines.

The Sofitel Arc de Triomphe has 124 keys, including 27 Superior Guestrooms, 66 Luxury Guestrooms, 13 Junior Suites, 11 Premium Suites, five Prestige Suites and two apartments.
