Four Seasons opens Jakarta property

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has announced the opening of a 125-suite property in Jakarta, marking the brand’s third hotel in Indonesia.

Situated at Capital Place, in the city’s central business district, Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta features interiors designed by Alexandra Champalimaud. The hotel’s aesthetic bring together classical European influence with details inspired by the city’s history and culture, and incorporates bespoke lighting and furniture alongside extensive facilities.

The all-suite residence will feature a restaurant headed up by Executive Chef Marco Riva, plus a spa, pool, fitness centre, garden terrace, 1,800m² of function space, Nautilus bar, café and outdoor landscapes. Guestrooms include personal refreshment bars, a spa-like bathroom, discreet technology and rich furnishings. The hotel’s Palm Court, adjacent to the grand lobby, includes a custom made chandelier by Lavsit, and the garden terrace can seat up to 350 people for all-day dining.

The property’s numerous dining options include: La Patisserie, serving up a selection of confectionaries, Dolcetto, a café that also offers catering options for meetings, and Alto Restaurant and bar, an upcoming Italian-themed establishment.

Additionally, Four Seasons Jakarta has made a commitment to showcase the art of Indonesia throughout its public and private spaces, and a curated collection of work by contemporary and historic artists is integrated into Champalimaud’s design scheme.

“Jakarta is a big, busy city that simply never stops – and Four Seasons feeds on that energy, optimism and uniquely Indonesian friendliness and flair,” comments General Manager Christian Poda. “We’ve created this beautiful new Hotel with every possible luxury, and now we are thrilled to finally welcome our first guests and really bring it to life.”
