Gilles Quiffet and Patrice Hart collaborate on design of Hyatt’s first hotel in Saudi Arabia

Set among landscaped gardens on the Corniche of Jeddah, the hotel has been designed in intimate and residential style by French interior designer Gilles Quiffet working with architect Patrice Hart to create a sleek European style fused with Arab-Andalusian architecture.

The surrounding resort complex will feature a 2.5-acre development of spa and wellness facilities, the Lazurde Meetings & Events Centre, a yacht marina, as well as a variety of restaurants and stylish lounges.

The hotel is located in the Al Hamra District at the Equestrian Club of Jeddah, just minutes away from the central business district.
The 34.5-acre complex overlooks sweeping views of the sea and the world-famous King Fahd fountain with 1,000ft+ high plume of water.

There are 142 guestrooms, including 15 suites, all featuring exclusive home comforts combined with business and entertainment gadgetry. Guestrooms are generously sized measuring 430 sq ft while the suites range from 860 square feet to more than 2,100 square feet

Opening soon, the Lazurde Meetings & Events Centre will feature 26,000 square feet of meeting and banquet facilities with its own dedicated entrance and an 8,100 sq ft ballroom.

Restaurants include a central Lobby Lounge with Cigar Room, and the  Nafoura Restaurant offering Mediterranean cuisine.

Non-Hyatt managed facilities to open soon will include a Commercial Gallery with a range of prestigious boutiques and a Marina that can berth 140 yachts of 26 to 82 feet in length. The marina will offer a main quay, a floating walkway, secondary pontoons, boarding facilities and fueling stations. Diving and sailing facilities may be added in the future.
