Hard Rock Hotel to open on London’s Oxford Street

In a little under 100 days, Hard Rock Hotel London is set to open its doors on the corner of Oxford Street and Park Lane. The result of a collaboration with London’s largest hotel owner-operator, GLH Hotels, the property will pay homage to the site’s rich history through interior design and carefully curated music memorabilia displays, nodding to the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan, Diana Ross and Madonna.

Designed by architectural and interior design practice Scott Brownrigg, Hard Rock Hotel London will comprise 900 guestrooms and suites, in addition to two bars and a Hard Rock Cafe. Visitors will experience a true taste of the capital, with a menu offering cocktail creations and classic American cooking served with a modern British twist. With 370 seats, the hotel’s Hard Rock Cafe will combine an elevated food and drink offering with live events, celebrating both local and international talent.

From chic boutiques and world-famous department stores, to historic theatres and world-class restaurants in London’s West End, the hotel will also place guests just steps away from the very best the city has to offer. For music lovers, the hotel is within close proximity of Hyde Park, which plays host to shows, festivals and music events throughout the year.

“Hard Rock is a world-class institution, where contemporary style and comfort meets rock star service,” says Ian Fletcher, General Manager of Hard Rock Hotel London. “This building has stood at the intersection of British music and fashion since the 1930s and when we open in April 2019, it’s sure to become a go-to London hotspot once again.”
