Higashiyama Niseko Village, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, will make its highly anticipated debut in YTL Hotels’ Niseko Village, Hokkaido on 15th December 2020.

Ume Lounge

The first Ritz-Carlton reserve to grace Japan, the 50-room resort resides at the base of Mount Niseko Annupuri in Niseko Village, with panoramic views of Mount Yotei and the surrounding ranges.

The property will offer a getaway to Niseko’s adventurous mountains, with 2,191 acres of skiable terrain and access to extensive backcountry skiing, and unique gastronomy, culture and traditions through its collections of authentic experiences year-round. Luxury amenities at the resort will include two distinctive restaurants, a lounge, a spa and onsen, and a fitness centre.

Nikeso Village also comprises two golf courses, including the Arnold Palmer-designed Niseko Golf Course, and extensive green season infrastructure including an adventure activity park. The village has been selected by Sapporo City Government as the venue for some of the 2030 Winter Olympics’ most iconic events. With an expanse of fall-line ski terrain from peak to base, the ski destination is set to host all four alpine disciplines; slalom, giant slalom, super-giant slalom, and downhill.
