Hotel Okura Co to expand to South East Asia with TCC-owned Bangkok hotel

TCC Luxury Hotels & Resorts Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of TCC Hotels Group, which owns numerous hotels in various countries ranging from Thailand to Malaysia, Singapore, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, PRC, Australia, London, New York, an d Japan.

Hotel Okura has focused on developing Asian Markets as its overseas development strategy, and concluded a joint marketing agreement with the luxury hotel and spa group Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts in 2006 and another with Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces, in 2007.
In addition, Hotel Okura has proceeded to prepare for the opening of three hotels in Macau and Taiwan. The opening of ‘Hotel Okura Bangkok’ will expand Okura’s footprint from East Asia to South East Asia. The company expects to open an additional 50 hotels with 15,000 rooms in total around the world by 2018.

Hotel Okura Bangkok is located on the prestigious address in the heart of Bangkok, in close vicinity of numerous embassies, financial institutions, luxury shopping centers and hotels. It will be directly connected to “Ploen Chit” Sky Train station.

Hotel Okura Bangkok will feature 242 rooms covering 34 floors embracing Asian design with a Harmony of Japanese and Thai cultures with cutting-edge facilities. Other facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, spa, all-day dining with international cuisines, the famous Yamazato Japanese restaurant creatively offering authentic Japanese dishes including Sushi, Teppanyaki and Tempura as well.
