Mondrian Gold Coast is gearing up to open its doors in June 2025, marking the brand’s debut in Australia.
Offering an interpretation of coastal luxury just steps from surf destination Burleigh Beach, the property has been envisioned by the creative minds at Elenberg Fraser and Studio Carter. A richly textured aesthetic reflects the vibrant energy of the locale, while the design also embraces the unpretentious community feel that characterises the region.
208 rooms are set to offer a selection of fully appointed accommodation options, each with views of the Pacific Ocean, Burleigh headland, or the verdant hinterland. Room categories include generously appointed Studios; one- and two-bedroom Suites with kitchens, open-plan living and dining areas; and two-and three-bedroom Homes.
The two- and three-bedroom Beach Houses offer an elevated beachside living experience. Set across two floors, each Beach House features a plunge pool and terrace with beach access from the esplanade, along with a full kitchen, living area, dining for up to twelve people, and laundry amenities.
The 24th floor is home to the Sky House, which comprises three king-sized bedrooms, stylish entertainment spaces, a private chef’s kitchen, a mixologist-ready bar, powder room, an ocean-facing terrace and breathtaking views stretching from South Stradbroke Island to Burleigh Headland, all through five-metre-high windows.
Located on the ground floor, Lito restaurant and lobby bar offer a sense of place, welcoming guests into a setting free from traditional hotel reception desks. Nestled on the third floor, pool club Haven captures the dynamic energy of the destination, uniting elevated coastal cuisine and poolside lounging.
Beachside meetings, events and conferences are catered to through 20 flexible meeting and event venues, including the Mondrian Ballroom, a number of beachside houses, and the 24th-floor VeeRoom.
The property is home to an array of wellness facilities, including Ciel Spa, a fitness centre, a 25m pool and plunge pools infused with magnesium on the third floor.
