Jávri Lodge to debut major expansion
Jávri Lodge, an adults-only, 26-key boutique hotel, is to reopen on 1 December with five new suites and a new lounge and sauna.
The five new guestrooms will be on a newly constructed second floor, providing uninterrupted views out onto the surrounding snowscape through floor to ceiling windows that offer lucky guests a chance to see the Northern Lights.
Elsewhere, Jávri Lodge’s expanded dining area will serve up authentic Finnish cuisine and fine wines, guided by a philosophy of preservation, and incorporating fresh, local and organic ingredients. Two newly installed saunas, meanwhile, will join the existing indoor swimming pool, massage treatments and wellness programme.
Following the renovation, Jávri Lodge will also open year-round, enabling guests to enjoy bright summer nights as well as the arctic winter.
