KCA International and Creative International to design Jumeirah Al Ain hotel in Abu Dhabi
Jumeirah Al Ain is scheduled to open in 2011 and will comprise 220 guestrooms and suites, as well as chalets and lofts and will adjoin the re-developed, high-end retail outlet Al Ain Mall. The hotel will also feature four unique dining concepts, entertainment venues and a luxurious spa as well as meeting and event centres. It will boast the Middle East’s largest fully serviced banqueting hall, accommodating over 1,400 guests, and a state-of-the-art conference centre.
The structural design and interior décor of Jumeirah Al Ain is inspired by the traditional Arabian hospitality experience, with an emphasis on luxurious comfort, quality and style. Creative International will design the hotel’s unique structure whilst interior design will be provided by KCA International, the same team responsible for interior of Jumeirah Group’s flagship Burj Al Arab hotel.
Al Ain is known as the ‘Garden City’ due to its wealth of greenery and desert oasis setting. Key features of the cosmopolitan site will include an Arabian inspired souk and traditional spice market, with a variety of casual dining concepts and cafés scattered amidst lush landscaping in keeping with the local environment.
