London’s Bromley Town Hall receives planning permission

Fusion Interiors Group (FIG) has announced that the Grade II Listed Bromley Town Hall has received planning permission ahead of its transformation into a new mixed-use development by May 2022.

Upon completion, the heritage building – combining 1890’s and 1930’s architecture – will house a luxury hotel, offices, members’ lounge, bar and restaurant.

FIG describes the project narratives as rich and layered, based on David Bowie and Charles Darwin – who both lived in the area – as well as the building itself, which was formerly a courthouse and maintained prison cells in the basement that have been transformed into meeting rooms.
