Manchester to welcome Forty Seven hotel

Kro Hospitality has revealed details for Forty Seven Manchester, a new 32-room hotel set to open its doors this summer. Located in the Peter Street neighbourhood, the property will comprise a range of duplex and signature suites that complement the original features of the structure while introducing bold interior details.

Given the area’s rich history – think the Peterloo Massacre and the Suffragettes – Forty Seven will also be home to The Peterman, a bar that promises a nod to these tales. Kro Hospitality’s popular restaurant, Asha’s, is set to reopen within the hotel too, offering a journey through India’s North-West frontier province.

“We’re delighted to announce the latest update on our recent venture in Manchester,” says Kim Eivind Krohn, Owner of KRO Hospitality, adding that the group’s other city centre venue, Velvet Hotel, Bar & Brasserie, is currently undergoing an extension that will see an additional 18 bedrooms introduced.

The hotel is to be led by General Manager Ryan Thompson, whose experience includes spells at Edwardian Hotels, Cottons Hotel & Spa in Cheshire and most recently, Hotel Gotham on Manchester’s King Street.
