Mandarin Oriental to manage luxury hotel on Lake Lucerne

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced that it will manage and re-brand an existing hotel on Lake Lucerne, Switzerland.

Currently undergoing an extensive renovation, the property will reopen as Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern in Q4 2020.

The iconic Hotel Palace Luzern initially opened in 1906 and is located in the heart of the city on the shores of Lake Lucerne. The multi-million-dollar makeover will include all guestrooms and suites, the public areas, restaurants and bars, as well as the landscaping of the outdoor grounds.

When it reopens, Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern will comprise 146 rooms and suites offering beautiful views of the lake and mountains. Other hotel facilities will include a restaurant and bar, a spa and fitness room, and a mix of social and meeting spaces.
