Marine & Lawn Hotels & Resorts has unveiled Portrush Adelphi, a 34-room hotel in the heart of the iconic seaside town of Portrush.
Marking the sixth in the Marine & Lawn portfolio and the brand’s second hotel in Northern Ireland, the property has been restored following its acquisition in 2022, with major renovations to guestrooms, public areas and dining spaces.
Designed by owner AJ Capital Partners’ in-house team, the hotel draws inspiration from County Antrim’s natural beauty and rich local heritage, including Portrush’s golfing history, featuring individually designed rooms, atmospheric gathering spaces, and the debut of The Red Sail Room restaurant concept.
Starting in the lobby, guests are greeted by rich mahogany wooden herringbone floors, majestic columns, overflowing greenery, and an open fireplace for the cold winter months.
Upon checking in, 34 thoughtfully designed rooms feature a rich palette of jewel tones, bespoke furnishings and thoughtful amenities. Tartan upholstery and cable knit throws add warm texture to the moody deep blue and greens, inspired by the lush surroundings.
The land and sea colour scheme continues into the bathrooms, with custom wallpaper and vibrant green tiles reflecting Ireland’s moniker as the Emerald Isle. Expanding on Marine & Lawn’s celebration of old-school luxury and craftsmanship, ensuites are stocked with a range of products from Floris, the world’s oldest independent family perfumer.
