The Maslina Resort, a member of Relais & Chateaux and Croatia’s first mindful luxury property, has announced the addition of two new four bedroom villas and one five-bedroom villa.

Offering contemporary interiors and refined seclusion, the new villas complement the 50 rooms and suites in the boutique resort.

Designed by local architect Tomislav Alujevic, owner of architectural studio Aalto, the villas are integrated into the landscape without obstructing it. This creates a non-intrusive structural design that combines the use of organic and native materials, allowing the villas to blend into their natural surroundings. The light-filled minimalist interiors, imagined by interior designer Léonie Alma Mason of LAM Studio and sea views reflect Maslina Resort’s ethos of wellbeing and mindfulness, allowing guests to escape to their private sanctuary surrounded by olive trees and landscaped gardens.

Situated on the edge of Maslinica Bay overlooking the Adriatic Sea, each of the villas differ in style. The 300m2 Villa Litica and Villa Borovina both offer four bedrooms – the former includes three king-sized bedrooms and one twin-bedroom, while Villa Borovina has four king-sized bedrooms. Both villas feature an open dining space, an expansive terrace and a large garage with ample space for two vehicles. The villas also feature a serene outdoor space that includes two private heated pools and outdoor showers.

Meanwhile, the 500m2 five-bedroom Villa Uvala boasts three king-size bedrooms and two twin bedrooms and an extensive open-plan indoor living area encompassing a dining table and living room with a large fireplace, as well as an expansive kitchen with bar seating.

The bathrooms offer uninterrupted sea-views and large hand-carved, natural stone bathtubs. There is also a private suite with a separate entrance and access. The villa epitomises the resort’s mindful luxury philosophy, evident in the private Finnish sauna, state-of-the-art fitness room, heated 55m2 infinity pool and jacuzzi.
