Nanxun Blossom Hill reveals new interiors

The Nanxun Blossom Hill Boutique Hotel in Zhouzhuang has revealed its new Dariel Studio designed interiors, taking inspiration from ‘hidden book’ towns and buildings.

Originally built in 1930 by Liu Chenggan, the building now houses a 20-key hotel, spread across three Ming Dynasty style structures. Tracing the story of the villa, Dariel combines elements of silk with a palette of blues and fiery reds throughout.

Guestrooms are guided by ideas drawn from ancient Chinese agriculture society, with occupations including fisherman, woodcutter, farmer and scholar all represented in the themes, colour and décor. Meanwhile, marrying traditional elements with contemporary western style, colourful Lazy Susan coffee tables and Little Eliah pendant lamps from Maison Dada punctuate the public spaces.
