Kerzner International has announced the signing of a new One&Only resort and community of private homes to be developed in Antigua.

This latest addition to the One&Only collection, slated to open in 2027, will expand the resort brand into the Caribbean, pairing Antigua’s beautiful landscapes with the brand’s rich hospitality.

The resort will be located at Half Moon Bay, on the southeast side of the island. The 132-acre site overlooks a secluded semi-circular beach, adjacent to a protected national park, with cliffs rising into panoramic views over the Caribbean.

Blending seamlessly with nature, the resort will reinterpret the island’s vernacular design with an elegant contemporary lens, providing flowing indoor and outdoor spaces, selected views and chic living areas. Inspiration will be taken from Antigua’s storied past to curate spaces of timeless luxury and laidback comfort.

“This is a significant moment for the considered growth of the One&Only portfolio, we have been searching for a location in this region for a long time, and we have now found a destination that not only meets but exceeds our vision for creating one-off resorts and experiences,” comments Philippe Zuber, Chief Executive Officer of Kerzner International. “I am delighted to introduce the brand to Antigua and to offer our loyal guests and homeowners an opportunity to uncover this extraordinary island.”

Gaston Browne, Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda adds: “We welcome and eagerly anticipate the One&Only resort at Half Moon Bay, which promises to be a marquee hospitality project in the Caribbean and the flagship of Antiguan and Barbudan tourism product.”

The upcoming opening joins a number of highly anticipated new resorts for One&Only, including in Dubai, Greece and the US.
