Our Habitas opens hotel in Atacama desert
Our Habitas has opened the doors of Our Habitas Atacama, the brand’s eleventh ‘home’.
Located in San Pedro de Atacama, Chile, the property comprises 51 rooms alongside a pool, wellness area and communal gathering space, all designed in keeping with Our Habitas’ philosophy of sourcing and supporting local businesses.
Also firmly aligned with the brand’s ethos, the property’s restaurant and bar use local and seasonal ingredients, including produce from a native herb garden with offerings indicative of the Atacama desert.
Sustainability continues to be a high priority throughout, with the site and its operation being entirely single-use plastic-free, and trees planted to offset any wood used during construction.
