Pullman Singapore Hill Street Suite

Pullman opening railway-inspired hotel

Pullman Hotels & Resorts will open Pullman Singapore Hill Street in Q3 2023, expanding the brand’s reach in Singapore. The new hotel has been designed around a theme of railway junctions – a nod to Pullman’s 19th century introduction of sleeping trains to railroad travelling.

A brand-new property built on the site of the old Telephone House, Pullman Singapore Hill Street has been designed by DP Architects. 350 Art Nouveau-inspired rooms and suites are dotted across the building’s U-shaped formation, which will offer guests varying views of the property’s surroundings.

All rooms and suites come equipped with in-room sensors, a Smart TV and an intuitive ordering system that enables in-room dining with the scan of a QR code. Shared spaces outside of rooms will take the form of multi-functional work or leisure rooms, a fitness space and pool with accompanying cabanas.

“At Pullman Singapore Hill Street, we aim to offer our travellers a new, fun and immersive hotel stay in an incredible city like Singapore,” says Mazen Abilmona, General Manager of Pullman Singapore Hill Street. “Whether it’s our stylishly-designed rooms, exquisite dining options, experiences and thoughtfully-curated partnerships, we have put personality and hyper-connectivity at the forefront to demonstrate what truly made Pullman Hotels & Resorts legendary back then, while reaffirming its status today.”

Pullman Singapore Hill Street will be home to three distinct dining concepts. New York deli and restaurant hybrid Madison’s will nod to Pullman’s American origins, in a setting designed to capture the buzzy atmosphere of a railway junction. Perched atop the hotel and flanking the rooftop swim-up bar is El Chido, a Mexican bar reminiscent of the vibrant open-air beachfront bars along Mexico’s coastlines. And finally, hidden in plain sight behind a nondescript door will be MOGĀ, a modern Japanese Izakaya meets speakeasy bar inspired by 1920s Japan and the Prohibition Era.
