Radisson announces two newbuild hotels in Poland

Radisson Hotel Group has announced an agreement with Zdrojowa Invest & Hotels Group for two newbuild Radisson resorts in Poland.

The two groups first partnered in 2017 with the opening of Radisson Blu Resort, Świnoujście. This relationship will continue with the development and delivery of two new properties in Szklarska Poręba and Kołobrzeg.

The former, due to open this winter, will be located in the mountain town of Szkalrska Poręba, renowned amongst German tourists as the old Schreiberhau resort in Riesengebirge. The hotel will feature 104 guestrooms with additional apartments planned to open later in a second phase. Other facilities include a compact water park, all-year outdoor jacuzzi, sauna, bath zone and a year-round spa and wellness zone.

Radisson Resort Kołobrzeg – Poland’s third Radisson-branded hotel – is planned for summer 2020. It will be the first international hotel brand to open in one of the biggest Polish seaside resorts. The 209-key facility will be situated in the spa area with a water park forming part of its offer.

Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer of RHG, Elie Younes, says: “We are excited to have signed this country development agreement with Zdrojowa and thank them for their trust in our brands and people”.

Zdrojowa co-founder, Jan Wróblewski also comments: “We are pleased to enter into this multiple property agreement with one of the leading global hotel chains, allowing us to achieve economies of scale. We will continue to develop our portfolio in the direction of both Zdrojowa Hotels, and properties under the brands of international chairs”.
