Rosewood announces 2022 Qatar debut
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has announced a planned 2022 opening date for Rosewood Doha Lusail City, the brand’s first property in Qatar. Featuring 185 guestrooms, 173 serviced apartments and 300 residences, the property will be created in partnership with Arkaz Investment and forms part of the USD45 billion Lusail City development – a mixed-use project spanning 38km and four islands with 19 residential, entertainment and commercial districts.

Housed in two distinctive towers conceptualised by the Arab Engineering Bureau and Chief Architect Ibrahim M. Jaidah, the hotel will seek to respond to its surrounding environment whilst reflecting the cultural context of the uber-development it forms a part of. Amenities are set to include eight culinary outlets including a bistro, lobby lounge, coffee shop, deli, three specialty restaurants, and cigar and entertainment lounges, whilst a 1,500m² ballroom and multiple event venues will host a variety of functions. A signature spa and Manor Club executive lounge complete the offer.
