Sol House announces partnership with Ibiza Rocks

Meliá Hotels International announces its partnership with Sol House and Ibiza Rocks to launch Sol House Mixed by Ibiza Rocks, with Sol House Ibiza and Sol House Mallorca set to open in May 2016.

The collaboration will introduce an Ibiza Rocks curated music and entertainment programme, and unique Mixologist modern day concierge service at Sol House Ibiza and Sol House Mallorca, before being rolled out globally across the Sol House brand.

Positioned at aspirational party tourists, Sol House and Ibiza Rocks work to merge music and innovative design, whilst attaining an affordable lifestyle experience. Meliá’s Sol House is a new selection of vibrant lifestyle hotels, custom built and placed in lively destinations with on-site pools and nearby beachfronts.

Located on the Calvià Beach seafront, Sol House Mallorca is ideal for young trendsetters. The hotel plays an integral part of Meliá Hotel International’s five-year plan to regenerate the Magaluf area and boasts two impressive new pool areas, including a VIP infinity pool, along with 373 guestrooms with spacious terraces overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Following a full refurbishment, Sol House Ibiza is located on Punta Pinet beach in San Antonio Bay and boasts 275 renovated guestrooms and hosting a wide variety of high-end facilities and unique tech-enhanced concierge services. The hotel will also include a new pool and Bali beds with a rooftop terrace bar.

Following the re-launch of Sol Hotels & Resorts in 2015, the partnership supports Meliá Hotels International’s plans to upgrade and reposition the brand. Last summer Sol Hotels & Resorts unveiled four new concepts; Sol House, Sol Beach House, Sol Katmandu Park & Resorts and Sol Hotels. Celebrating its eleventh birthday this year, Ibiza Rocks pioneered the branded hotel concept with the opening of the Ibiza Rocks Hotel in 2008 followed by Mallorca Rocks Hotel in 2010 and restoring the world-renowned rock n’ roll boutique hotel, Pikes Ibiza in 2011.

Sol House Ibiza and Sol House Mallorca open in May 2016 with the full Sol House Mixed by Ibiza Rocks programme starting from June 2016.
