Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco is set to begin welcoming its first guests in spring 2027, showcasing a gallery-inspired design delivered by Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos (SOMA).
Embodying the energy, culture, creativity and cosmopolitan sophistication of Mexico City, the hotel establishes a refined destination for discovery 30 storeys above the neighbourhood of Campos Elíseos.
Overlooking Chapultepec Park, one of the largest urban green spaces in the world and among the oldest parks in the Americas, Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco offers uninterrupted views over the park’s forested canopy from nearly every corner of the property.

The hotel will offer 155 guestrooms and 38 suites, including a Two Bedroom Presidential Suite. Designed by Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos (SOMA), the Mexican architecture firm founded in 1937 and now led by its third generation, the hotel’s interiors will unfold as a layered narrative in dialogue with the city.
Each corner unfolds as an immersive, art gallery-like experience, featuring a collection of Mexican artwork and bespoke collaborations that celebrate both contemporary and traditional expressions.
Threaded throughout these spaces, guests will discover a collection of contemporary Mexican art curated by Arte Abierto, the nonprofit organisation founded by SOMA to foster artistic dialogue across the country, with works selected for their dialogue with the hotel’s design narrative.
The collection features works by an internationally recognised roster of Mexican artists, including Damián Ortega and Michelle Aubert, among others.

The hotel will also house four indoor and outdoor dining venues, including a specialty restaurant, an all-day dining venue, modern Mexican concept and innovative cocktail bars. Wellness offerings include a rooftop pool and the full-service Tezca Spa, and the hotel will also feature more than 8,500ft2 of versatile meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom and an open-air terrace for receptions.
“The hotels that stay with you are always rooted in their destination,” says Tamara Lohan, Global Brand Leader, Luxury, Hyatt. “Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco reflects the energy, creativity and cultural confidence of one of the world’s great cities, through thoughtful design, an outstanding culinary programme, remarkable art and a team that has shaped every part of the guest experience with real care. Its opening is another important step for the Park Hyatt brand in Mexico. Together with Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol and the upcoming Park Hyatt Riviera Maya, we’re offering modern travellers three distinct expressions of the brand, each deeply connected to its destination while sharing the same commitment to thoughtful design, exceptional service and experiences that feel authentic to where you are.”
