The Hoxton has announced plans for the debut of Hox Chalet in the snow-capped peaks of the French Alps next February.

Located in the centre of Morzine, 1,000m up in the world-famous ski region of Portes du Soleil, Hox Chalet is a three-level luxury mountain lodge run in partnership with Treeline Chalets and caters for up to 12 guests across six en-suite bedrooms, a fully-stocked open-plan kitchen and a cosy lounge with log burner. Amenities will include Blank toiletries in the bathrooms, bespoke Hox bedding and Roberts radios, as well as a shiny new Alpine edition of the famous Hox neighbourhood guide – filled with insider tips and expert guides of the best pistes for all abilities – local snacks and care packages full of treats.

A dedicated private chef will also be on hand to conjure up post-piste fare, inspired by Hox menu classics from each of its hotels, while digestifs come courtesy of the fully-stocked Grey Goose Vodka cocktail bar. And that’s just for starters, with the experience furthered by a wine cave, steaming hot tub overlooking the valley and a plunge pool buried in the snow.

Whilst the launch marks The Hoxton’s first time on the slopes, the brand is no stranger to the great outdoors. In 2020, in response to the pandemic, it took its guests out of its cities for the first time with Camp Hox: a pop-up campsite that dropped all the best bits of The Hox in 12 luxury lotus tents in Oxfordshire, which sold out in days. This was followed by roving Hox campervans in summer 2021 and a more bucolic Hox cabin in the remote French countryside in 2022. The evolution of Camp Hox is testament to The Hoxton’s adventurous brand spirit and priority to put experience and innovation at the forefront of its approach to hospitality. Hox Chalet will take place early 2023, kicking off a bumper year for the brand, with a string of European openings in Brussels, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Berlin and Vienna.
