The Lanesborough announces auction ahead of extensive renovation
Members of the public will be able to view the original and reproduction furnishings and authentic artwork by appointment on 7 and 8 December, before the sale commencing.
The contents are sourced from the 93 guestrooms including 43 suites, private dining rooms, The Library Bar and Apsleys Restaurant. Following the auction by Pro Auction, The Lanesborough will close on 20 December for extensive renovation.
The new designs for refurbishment will extend to all guestrooms and public areas and have been completed by Alberto Pinto. The designs will aim to integrate the latest innovations whilst honouring the buildings architectural heritage.
